Hey everybody! It's Blaboole again, one of the devs of Prehistoric Relations. Today I'm going to talk a bit about the content introduced in Chapter 3!

Just a reminder, Chapter 3 will only be available for Patreon supporters for this month. But good news for everybody else: Chapter 2 is releasing for free for everybody today! Also a big thanks to the Patreon supporters who have already pledged, it means a lot to us!

So what was added in Chapter 3?

Chapter 3 is mostly a content update. So the game systems look more or less the same as they did in Chapter 2, (with perhaps a little bit more polish, of course) but we got a lot more done with the actual story and with some new characters you'll meet. That also means I don't have a ton I can tell ya here, since I won't spoil our own game! I'm very excited to see what you will think of the new chapter though,I know a couple of the scenes in it were extra fun for me to code, and I think they'll be even funnier for you to play through them!

• Added the story content for Chapter 3!
  
  • By the numbers, this update has us surpass 1,000 text boxes, and shoot past 10K words closer to 15K words! Our beefiest update yet!
  • It also has a ton of new character images: 29 of them!
• Added a banner that precedes every chapter. A bit barren still, but it should at least help players to segment their play sessions or streams or whatnot!
• Cleaned up some of the code--particularly the bit that handles player pronouns is much easier to work with now in the script.This means smoother development into the future!
• Built with ren'py 7.4.10 (was 7.4.9)

That's about everything for now. Smaller changelog but I think you'll find all the content added makes update feel even more substantial than Chapter 2! 

I can also say we're hard at work on some other features like an improved main menu screen and something else I'm even more excited to get to talk about... but that's better saved for the Chapter 4 update! Stay tuned for more soon.
